Payment provider Trustly, has become the official “Open Banking” partner of English football club, West Ham United.
Trustly, which offers specific payment services for games and banking products, including the Pay N Play solution has signed an agreement with the team that plays in the English Premier League. Remember that this banking system was put into practice in the United Kingdom three years ago.
Johan Nord, Trustly’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) business director, said: “Trustly is delighted to be partnering with West Ham United, London’s iconic Premier League club. This association comes at a time when Open Banking adoption in the UK is experiencing huge growth.”
Nord also stressed that: “we are delighted to combine the world of football and banking payment solutions. And, we look forward to working closely with West Ham throughout this multi-year partnership.”
Nathan Thompson, West Ham United’s commercial director, also officially stated. “At West Ham United, innovation is key to everything we do and we are excited to be partnering with Trustly, an organization that is redefining the speed, simplicity, and security of payments through its own products.”
